How do I know what size door I have?
The most common door sizes we sell are 2'0 X 6'8, 2'4 X 6'8, 2'6 X 6'8, and 3'0 X 6'8. It's likely that what you want will fall under one of these sizes, but you can always measure the height, length, and width of the door and we can find your best fit.
What's the difference between an inswing and an outswing?
For interior doors:
Stand outside of the room you are attempting to enter with the door shut. If you have to push the door, it is an inswing. If you pull it, it is an outswing.
For exterior doors:
Similar to interior doors, if you push it when entering, it is an inswing, and if you pull it, it is an outswing.
Is my door right-handed or left-handed?
This information usually goes hand in hand with the inswing. The easiest way to determine the handedness of your door is to stand with your back to the hinges with the door open. If the door swings to your left when standing against the hinges, it's a left-hand swing. If it swings to your right when your back is to the hinges, it is a right-hand swing.
What's the difference between a slab and a pre-hung door?
A slab is just that. It is a door that is not prepped for hinges or a handle. A pre-hung door is a door that is prepped in its frame and ready for installation.
